DOCTRINE

Scripture

We believe the scriptures to be the inspired, authoritative, and infallible word of God. We believe that all scripture is inspired by God and useful for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness; so that the man and woman of God may be adequately equipped for every good work according to 2 Timothy 3:16-17 (NASB). We believe that scripture in partnership with Holy Spirit will lead us into holy and righteous living. We also believe that  scripture is and will remain to both the spiritual as well as natural aspects of all creation.

The Nature of God

We believe in one God, self-existent, self-revealed and manifest as God The Father, God The Son and God The Holy Spirit (John 10:30, 1 John 5:1-12). We believe that God is Holy, perfect in nature and incapable of error or mistake (Deuteronomy 32:4, Matthew 5:48; 2 Samuel 22:26-27). We believe that Jesus is both fully God and fully man; born to a virgin to redeem humanity from the penalty of sin and death (John 3:16-21). We also believe that Holy Spirit is a gift to every believer in Christ, exist for the purpose of counsel, comfort, correction and conduct; dwells within the believer and upon the anointed to accomplish the will of God for themselves and the nations of the world through supernatural gifts and abilities (John 14-John 16).

Humanity

We believe that all humanity was born in sin, as a result of the fall of Adam and Eve in the garden (Genesis 3; Psalms 51:5). We believe that Jesus Christ redeemed humanity from the penalty and bondage of past, present and future sin at the Cross of Calvary (John 3:16-21). We believe that it is ONLY through the work of the Cross that humanity has access to righteousness and liberation from sin (Romans 10:5-10).

Salvation

We believe that salvation through the acceptance of the finished work of Calvary is the ONLY way to a true relationship with the God head (Father, Son and Holy Spirit) (John 10:1-10). We believe that salvation and holy living are inseparable truth’s that are required for eternal life (Hebrews 12:14, John 3:7; Ephesians 5:1-20). We believe that salvation is a biblical choice (Joshua 24:15). We believe that as free mortal agents, humanity has the God given right to accept or deny the gift of salvation at any time. We believe that if anyone rejects the gift of salvation, they have rejected God and will be condemned to hell on the day of judgment.

Five-Fold Ministry

We believe that the Five-Fold Ministry gifts outlined by the Apostle Paul in Ephesians 4:11-13 as Apostle, Prophet, Evangelist, Pastor and Teacher are all legitimate and relevant gifts and offices necessary for the edification and maturity of the body Christ. We believe that the use of these gifts with proper biblical training, are necessary to bring the body of Christ into the fullness of its calling. We believe that these gifts and offices should be recognized in every local assembly and the universal church as there is no biblical reference that validates their exclusion.

Marriage

God created marriage. It is a covenant between a man and a woman that makes them one (Gen 2:22, 24; Matt 19:5-6).
